Line editing is where the real polish happens. This goes beyond basic grammar and spelling—it's about improving rhythm, sentence structure, pacing, and word choice. Think of it as refining your writing line by line to make sure every sentence pulls its weight and sounds like your best self.

Scope Includes:

  • Word choice, tone, and voice consistency

  • Repetitive phrasing and awkward transitions

  • Basic grammar, punctuation, and clarity

  • Suggestions for tightening or expanding as needed

Timeline: 14 business days per manuscript (up to 90k words)
Rate: $0.02 per word (Example: 60,000 words = $1200)

Proofreading

For writers who need a final check before publishing or submission.

Proofreading is the last step before hitting “send” or “publish.” I’ll catch those pesky errors that slip through—spelling mistakes, missing commas, or formatting inconsistencies—so your manuscript feels polished and professional.

Scope Includes:

  • Grammar and punctuation corrections

  • Typos and spelling errors

  • Inconsistencies in capitalization, hyphenation, or formatting

  • Final polish without changing your voice or content

Timeline: 7–10 business days per manuscript (up to 90k words)
Rate: $0.008 per word (Example: 60,000 words = $500)
